This is the best Bible app for bible study that I have found on iOS so far.

The amount of information you have access to using this app is beyond what one would expect from a free app. But I have the KJV, MHCC commentary, as well as entire concordance and that is just some of what is offered in a very simple, cohesive format for one to casually read or embark on deep Biblical studies. It is truly priceless.

This contains a basic English-language Bible, dictionary, and commentary - not exactly geared for serious study - in run-on unformatted hard-to-read text. If you want other more substantial add-ons, youre supposed to connect to some sort of module download system that they tell you - with emphasis - poses security risks, in order to download modules that they tell you beforehand are, in many cases, just junk.

Very good app and extensive study features, but just wish I could find a NKJV in one of the modules.

It offers different study methods as in commentaries, word search Greek and Hebrew word usage, dictionaries, etc, all linked together through Bible verses and opened separately in a different window but viewed together. The only thing I would suggest to offer in a future download: is the ability to open a second translation in a parallel view but in the same window of course.

They removed Calvins Commentaries & dont respond to queries.

it is as good as the droid app. this app has been such a blessing.. i was able to read the torah the first 12 books word for word translations.. if you study surely you know how valuable that would be..

Such a blessing to have all these resources available for Bible study and church services. I keep several of the lexicons and commentaries installed all the time!

This app is definitely a great resource to study the Bible with and grow closer to God. There are so many options included in this app. Its an essential app for anyone studying Gods Word.

Includes the King James translation of Gods holy word plus Strongs concordance. Easy switch allows turning Strongs on/off. Has advanced searching. Has good options for font size and such. I also installed Matthew Henrys Complete Commentary, which is easy to access once its installed. I highly recommend this app.

Please can you consider the Louis Segond bible? It is broken in some chapters. For example, the psalm 119 is limited to verse 7. Also, can you enlarge the Description space in bookmarks so that we can take important notes.

I have this app on both my iPad and iPhone. It works perfectly on the iPhone. And recently the search function no longer works on the iPad. I have tried to tweet (no response). I emailed crosswire.org (no response). I went to the crosswire forums to register to ask a question. (Unable to register. I get an error message) I have tried every avenue to get help. Writing this review hopefully will get someones attention. If the search function works, it is a great app.
